Pinellas County deputies claim an Indian Rocks Beach city employee got so angry after learning he was being fired that he battered two fellow employees and drove a truck toward four women while planning to hit City Hall.
Errol Sylvester Gray, 58, is accused of battering his 58-year-old male supervisor and a 50-year-old female witness after he was terminated from the Public Services Department Wednesday morning.

According to law enforcement, witnesses said they saw Gray get into the truck and drive away, but he allegedly made a U-turn and drove at four women who were standing in front of City Hall. The women ran into the building.
In an interview, deputies claim Gray admitted to attacking the two people and said he intended to drive the truck into City Hall and the city manager's office.
The supervisor was taken to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
Deputies spotted the city-owned Heavy Duty Ford F-150 truck headed south on Gulf Boulevard at 10th Avenue N. That's where they say they took Gray into custody.
Gray was charged with four counts of aggravated assault with a motor vehicle, one count of aggravated battery, one count of battery, and one count of resisting an officer without violence.
The investigation is continuing.
